Some VERY cool Retro/Vintage text styles that I wanted to share with the class... Enjoy!

I thought that this was a really cute design element. Good use of the words being made into the graphic. Hot, hot, coffee.....

 I thought that these would be good choices for my Graphic Design & Media Principles class. The one on the right is from a book cover & the one below is from a Vintage Soviet Circus Poster. I loved the way they went from a simple cup of tea to a scorpion as a comparison to how a person can change when drugs are introduced. As for the poster, I loved the way the figures flowed from one into the next.

These both caught my eye for my Typography class. The use of the type in the designs really caught my eye. I feel like these designs wouldn't work without the type choices they made.

I ran across this on, of all things, Pinterest. It caught my eye immediately & I of course thought that it would be a great example for my Graphic Design class. I don't have any idea what year it is from but it still draws your attention.

Here are some of my "Tiepolo" ideas for Typography class. I had done 9 total. The one I liked the best is in the upper right. The one the class wants me to go through with isn't here. I decided to wait to post it until I had it more complete.

Here are just a few of my sketchbook ideas. A couple of them showed I was hungry (Taco Bell, Domino's).... picture frame, etc.... some of my pets names & ideas for fonts.
